🏆 Must-Try Restaurant

Exceptional food worth the trip

What does this mean?

I’m digging into the memory bank for this one, but when a breakfast hits as hard as the Hershey Pantry’s did, it sticks with you. Back in May 2023, my girlfriend took me here for breakfast and the place was absolutely popping. Packed to the brim. No open tables. We ended up grabbing two spots at the bar, which honestly worked out because I got a front-row seat to plates flying out nonstop. Here is my Hershey Pantry review.

I don’t remember what she ordered, but my dish is burned into my brain. Some kind of southwestern-style breakfast bowl built with over-easy eggs, rice, tomatoes, beans, and chorizo. Pretty sure it was their Breakfast Taco even though it came as a bowl with tortillas on the side. I didn’t bother with the tortillas. I hit it with hot sauce and went to work. I demolished that bowl. No shame.

It looked so good that someone sitting next to me literally asked what I ordered. That’s how you know a place is doing breakfast right.

Hershey Pantry Review: Small Space, Big Crowds

The Hershey Pantry isn’t huge, so it fills up fast. They serve breakfast all day, offer takeout, and keep the doors open only until 3 PM. No reservations. No call-ahead seating. First come, first served. If you roll in during peak hours, expect a wait.

We went on a Sunday. Maybe weekdays are calmer, but with Hersheypark close by… who knows. Want zero crowds? Show up in winter like a sane person.

What to Expect

Prices run typical for a breakfast spot of this quality. Expect $9–$18 for most plates. If you want to get fancy, Afternoon Tea runs $24 and is served from 12–3. It’s not just a cute gimmick either. They do it right.

Between the food, the atmosphere, and the constant flow of plates from the kitchen, the Hershey Pantry is one of those spots that earns the hype. If you’re anywhere near Hershey and want a breakfast or lunch that actually slaps, put this place on your itinerary. You won’t regret it.

Too bad we don’t live in the area anymore, because we would absolutely be regulars.
