I really like chili and I was dying to make it since it would be my first time ever making chili. So for dinner one night, I pulled out a pound of ground pork. Uncertain about what to really do with it, and having already made pork stir fry, I turned to Google to find something different. Consequently, a website popped up listing out 35 different meals you can make with ground pork. As I was scrolling through, I stumbled upon the chili made with ground pork. It instantly caught my eye. Not only was it chili made with pork, which was different, I wanted to make chili. That night was the night I was going to attempt to make chili.

From Shopping to Cooking Completion

I realized I was missing a few ingredients, so off to the store I went. Subsequently, when I got back, about an hour later, I promptly got started. Making this took me about 2 hours from start to finish, including everything from prepping all the vegetables to finally sitting down to eat.

The Perfect Blend of Ingredients in Ground Pork Chili

I was highly impressed! This chili was absolutely delicious. Specifically, the pork added a unique flavor, and including the jalapenos contributed a nice little kick to it. Ordinarily, I always put hot sauce on my chili, but I did not need it for this one. The jalapenos alone gave the chili enough heat where it wasn’t necessary. Furthermore, the oregano, chili, and tomatoes all blended together nicely, ensuring that nothing was overpowering. I also didn’t need to add any additional salt or pepper. The amount the recipe calls for is perfect, enough to easily feed a family of 4 and have enough left over.
